- Accumulator
- A single bet that combines two or more selections; all must win for the bet to pay out, with odds multiplied together.
- Asian Handicap
- A spread betting system that gives one team a virtual advantage or disadvantage to eliminate the draw as an outcome.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money you have set aside specifically for betting activities.
- Both Teams to Score
- A bet on whether each team in a match will score at least one goal, regardless of the final result.
- Bracketing
- Predicting tournament outcomes for multiple rounds in advance, often used in World Cup knockout stages.
- Cash Out
- Settling a bet before the event concludes; you receive a calculated amount based on current odds and likely outcome.
- Correct Score
- A bet predicting the exact final score of a match, offering higher odds but lower chances of winning.
- Double Chance
- A bet covering two of three possible match outcomes, such as home win or draw, increasing your chance to win.
- Draw No Bet
- A bet where you pick a winner, and if the match ends in a draw, your stake is refunded.
- Each Way
- Two bets in one: one on your selection to win and another on it to place, common in outright tournament bets.
- Evens
- Odds expressed as 1/1, meaning you win an amount equal to your stake if your bet wins.
- First Goalscorer
- A bet on which player will score the first goal in a match, often offering attractive odds.
- Free Bet
- A complimentary bet token credited by a sportsbook, usually with conditions attached before withdrawal.
- In-Play Betting
- Placing bets on events while they are already in progress, with odds updating continuously.
- KYC
- Know Your Customer; the identity verification process required by gambling operators to prevent fraud and underage betting.
- Lines
- The odds and betting options offered by a sportsbook for a particular event, including point spreads and totals.
- Live Odds
- Odds that change in real time during an event, reflecting the current state of play and betting activity.
- Maximum Payout
- The highest amount a sportsbook will pay out on a winning bet, regardless of the actual odds won.
- Outright Winner
- A bet on which team or player will win an entire tournament, such as the World Cup.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether the total goals, points, or stats in a match will be above or below a set number.
- Pre-Match
- Bets placed before an event begins, as opposed to in-play betting during the match.
- Prop Bet
- A side bet on specific events within a match, such as which player gets a yellow card or number of corners.
- Self-Exclusion
- A voluntary account restriction where you block yourself from betting for a set period to promote responsible gambling.
- Void Bet
- A cancelled bet where all stakes are returned, usually due to a match being postponed or rules violations.
- Wagering Requirement
- The number of times you must bet bonus funds before withdrawing any related winnings.
